Increased Stress increases our body's requirements for nutrients...

As we head towards winter, I thought we might start to look at the role of nutrients in our body.

One of my biggest aah-haa moments was when I learned that our bodies don't "make" these nutrients, and they are absolutely essential to our survival! They enable our bodies to function in every way imaginable!


So in the next week or two I will share some insights into these amazing wee nutrients and just what they do


Today's key tip is....When we are under stress, our body burns through nutrients faster and more intensely. So we can support our bodies by increasing our nutritional intake.


Think of it a bit like driving a car...if you put your peddle to the metal your going to burn more gas faster, so your going to need to refuel sooner and more often.
